Breaking down the biggest stories from NFL Week 13, including Justin Herbert's broken finger.

Four weeks of 13 plots

Justin Herbert concussed, uncertain Week 14.Have a charger? You know it's not easy. After a September that suggested it was finally the year for our troubled Bolts, it has been a year.Like, it's been years, bro.Bad enough, but especially since it only covers two months in Chargerland. He suffered a broken finger which required surgery.Being a football player, Herbert will likely play against the Eagles in Week 14.Being Herbert, he's on the run and it could be disastrous.Herbert hasn't been a QB1 for a while now, so a top 12 finish would be impossible if he could be ready for the final week of the fantasy regular season.

Adonai Mitchell sent a disturbance to the Phantom Force. If our boy could just catch a ball, he'd be a star.On Sunday he took eight, but he also took one, finally hitting the big game he's been building to all season, if not all decade.Mitchell's 52-yard score allowed him to both blow right into the corner and return an imperfect pass to make a beautiful sliding catch in the end zone.Week, puncture.Career, potentially saved.Longtime readers of this website know that you can't declare "mission accomplished" when a player of Mitchell's quality finally has a good game, but we have a proof-of-concept peak. While unsettled, Mitchell's top WR4 cannot be denied the title in Week 14 against the Dolphins.

Bryce Young went wild in the comeback win.Young's latest comeback was well calculated. The junior quarterback has eight career touchdown passes of 30+ yards.Three of those came Sunday against the Rams, including what turned out to be his 43-yard touchdown pass to Tetairoa, but that's still inconsistent. It was always bad.Now there's an Any Given Sunday element to his game that makes him do things like come back and beat the best team in the NFC.He's still too mysterious to trust in a fantasy league of a QB, but Young has quietly raised his level while, yes, hitting the ceiling at times.

Aaron Rodgers adds another broken face to the offense."Frozen Favre" comes to mind. That's fine if you don't remember Favre's broken jaw against the Patriots to begin with.Very similar to what we saw from Rodgers on Sunday. One major difference is that Rodgers actually returns to the game. The question is why.Rodgers has no one to throw to.Passing catchers are out there. It's joyous football, but worse, inefficient and boring football. There is no point in this test. There is no turning point. It is difficult to hang him.Boom / bust wh4 for fantasy playoffs.

Four stories and 13 stories

Michael Pittman jr the contracts as collts to start a lot.Jm a solution of the spoil. The cool is to collate the past.Missing, they have in the situations in the situations, up to the gut conversations at the end of the garden in the category.Pierce.Wakah, it's not about moving chips, but to do a real inspection.

With Parker Lishington out with an injury, Brian Thomas Jr.couldn't help much. How big is Brian Tom Thr.tried this season? The JagUars' Official Tweeting Block Bloght Thoughts.Thomas, active for the first time since week 9, only made two out of three goals.and get rid of some of the riff-raff in the competition, but they may start in a position that has a better chance of getting three. If they don't have that luxury or don't believe in something that can stay out, their week 14 opponent, will be at least No.

Bucky Irving eliminates snaps to dominate touches.Technically, the Bucs didn't lie.Irving's shots were actually rationed. He only played 54 percent of the game. When he's on the field, he gets the ball.19 times compared to five times by Rachaad White and two times by Sean Tucker. There is no committee.Obviously saving the Bucs' offense in need of an extra element, when the offense is among the most injury-ridden in the league. In the end, it wasn't Irving's dominant performance, but it was one that gave the defense something extra to think about. It also hints even more if the 19 grabs are the start of Irving's comeback. If you've accomplished so much that your playoff chances are still intact, Irving looks pretty solid.

Aaron Jones is injured and Max Bostermer goes into Peterman mode.Jones is a powerful player - and a ladder. The Vikings expect Jones to be their main problem when the passing attack stalls. His tall frame did not allow him to do this.He deprives this Morisubin and any hope of relief information for a fantasy manager's offense without RB2 power.Jones likely won't miss the Week 14 game against the leaders, opening up an opportunity for Jordan Mason to start, though the 49ers aren't exactly heartbroken when you only show a little bit. With all the touches but unable to produce such an offense, Mason remains fireless.

Along similar lines, Jacoby Brissett is now tied with Dick Prescott for most 300-yard passing performances in a season (four).

If you thought Max Brosmer went beyond merely “pulling a Nine” and instead “pulled a Peterman,” that’s because he did, via Benjamin Solak: “Max Brosmer is the first quarterback to throw 4-plus interceptions in his first career start since … Nathan Peterman in 2017.”
