The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Las Vegas Raiders 31–0, their most one-sided shutout against the Raiders in the 133 times the two teams have met.
Kansas City, MO.- The idea that the Raiders failed to stop the Kansas City Chiefs, who were facing a 1-and-1 at their 40.
Patrick Mahomes came in under center.He surveyed the defense.He barked a few times and then mumbled so loudly that not only the Raiders heard him, but also the television cameras, which didn't have time to censor certain language.
"This game don't work (don't work), man!"MAHOMES yelled.
It was all a ruse.And the Raiders cheated.They relaxed a bit, thinking the bosses were trying to take them out, and eventually punted.Then, when Mahomes got the ball a second later and passed to Kareem Hunt, he had enough room for a first down.The Chiefs finished with another touchdown and never looked back in a 31-0:133 victory against the Raiders.the two teams have played against each other on occasion.
Later, when asked about his acting chops, Mahomes said, "I think it comes from all my State Farm commercials," to laughter in the room.
Many people were left to make fun of the Raiders on Sunday.
They had three first downs, becoming the first team with that many since Nov. 2, 2008 against the Falcons. Their 30 possessions were the second fewest in the Super Bowl era;The expansion Browns scored 28 points against Pittsburgh. They finished with 96 yards of offense, the fourth-fewest in franchise history.
Meanwhile, the leaders piled up 434 yards.They were then 9 out of 15 years, then there were 8 out of 9 in one day.He held the ball for 42 minutes, 8 seconds, which means that the attackers had a carriage of 17:52 through the 60-minute affair.
"I think we beat ourselves for the most part," said Raiders QB Geno Smith, who was 10 of 16 passing yards before giving up to Kenny Pickett, who promptly had his first touchdown of the game.
"You know, they're a great team," Smith said. "They understand that you're together for a while, they're together, they're going to win one time. We're going to get out early, so if you're on the right track, you're not on the right track, you're not on the right track, you're not on the right track, or you're not on the right track."
It was a strong fighter who went to TIPLET, the Raiders struggled with knee injuries, knee and toe injuries and big receivers. Then they lost MaxX Kramway in the first half. Adam Butler also went down with a back injury.
Uphill battle?It probably felt like climbing a wall.
Coach Pete Carroll said Crosby's knee was "a little sore" and he wanted to continue playing."But we had to shake him," Carroll said, "because he didn't look right."He will be re-evaluated on Monday to determine the severity of the injury.
"The NFL is a tough game as it is. It's never easy," Smith said."We have tough games every week. When you don't play the right way, and you don't play at your level, it's going to be very difficult to win games."
Vegas' best record might be the fact that Smith hasn't added to the 10 interceptions he's already thrown.It certainly wasn't star rookie Asant Ske Jeanty, who had just six carries for 21 yards.
And everyone in Las Vagas is defending, which was strong enough to beat Kansas City by accident.Good things paid off when he hurt his shoulder in the opening, and Rasue Osikaka came back after the first week, when he tore it with his quarterback.
Arisi finished two of the houses' three touchdowns and seven shatchs in all.Travis Kelce had 54 hard hits.There are three hazards and a minimum of 13 levels.Marquest Brown scored his third TD in two games.And nine players will rotate to host Kansas City in the afternoon.
"My heart goes out to Pete. Pete and I have been doing this for a long time," coach Andy Reid said."You look at it, a team with injuries, man — it's tough for them, especially when (Crosby) is out. It's tough for a guy. I know they're the Raiders. I know we love to follow the Raiders. But you hate to see that."
