Which players should you draft to light up your fantasy team in Week 8?Dan Parr provides a list of waiver wire shoulders, along with rookie revelations at quarterback and tight end.
It's here people.Bye Mageddon.Six teams are in Week 8, which is the most weeks.in a few daysToday's Waiver Maneuver could be a make-up or breakout attempt for your imaginary lineup.Quality options including the Cardinals, Jaguars, Lions, Raiders, Rams and Seahawks all enjoyed the answer.
With that in mind, here are my picks for Week 8, starting with my top 15 players to prioritize on waivers regardless of position.
The only rule here: Players must be registered in less than 60 percent of leagues to be eligible for the roster.

And now, here are my top five resignation priorities by position:
- I'm already on the Jackson Dart wave and this is probably the last week (if he's still available in your league) that you have a chance to sign him. After a month of competition, the sample size cannot be easily dismissed. The rookie is averaging 21.9 fantasy points per start. This is an elite production. The Giants lost in impressive fashion to the Broncos on Sunday, but Dart still had a career day.He had arguably the best defense in the league.I wouldn't mind playing him against the Eagles, who defended the school two Thursdays ago.
- Yes, it's hard to believe, but Joe Flacco was the fantasy QB6 of Week 7. The 40-year-old defied Father Time last Thursday, racking up 342 yards and three touchdowns against the Steelers. He's averaging 22.4 fantasy PPG since being traded to the Bengals, and I like his chances of keeping it going this week at home versus the Jets, even though their defense has played better of late.
- I'm mad at Tyrod Taylor Taylor for Aaron Rodger's 4th place on Stanking of QBs.Taylor's hand probing ability is evident, but it's clear he didn't like playing on Justin's field on Sunday. When Aaron Glenn decides to limit Taylor's back start due to try protection.
- We've been waiting for The Kyle Monangaghe Show to start, and he finally debuted in Week 7. The rookie rushed for a career-high 81 yards and scored his first career TD on 13 carries (6.2 YPC). He has 38 receiving yards in the last two games.I don't expect the Bears to blow big leads every week, which would allow them to blow against the Saints, but they have a tasty matchup this week against the Ravens, who have one of the worst defenses in the league.D'Andre Swift is still the RB1 in Chicago, but perhaps the gap between the two running backs has at least narrowed.Monangai has a chance to get significant playing time, and Swift is a roster wife, especially in deeper leagues.
- With Isiah Pacheco, Kareem Hunt and Brushard Smith sharing the workload, the Chiefs' backfield is a hot mess from a fantasy perspective. However, Week 7 provided Smith's best look yet.As the Chiefs pulled away from the Raiders early Sunday, the rookie caught a career-high 19 touches (by any Kansas City RB) that turned them into 81 yards.Kansas City is likely to continue its offense next Monday against a Commanders defense that has fallen on hard times, so don't sleep on Smith in deeper leagues.Given the way snaps are split between the back three, be prepared to be frustrated for a long time.
- Along with John and Mall and Mall Namzan, it must be a matter of time before Larba David's JB1 role.Obviously, the offense is in great shape, but Dhawal seems to have enough volume in the end.It remains speculative for now.
- I know Marvin Mims Jr. is ahead of Troy Franklin in fantasy releases (15.8 to 12.9) against the Giants, but I'm still riding Franklin. In fact, Bo Nix looked his way 10 times in Denver's sensational comeback win. Then the team is leading by four goals. The Broncos now host the Cowboys, who benefited from injuries to the Commanders at QB and WR on Sunday but have a very generous defense for fantasy WRs.
- Andy Dalton hit Xavier Leggett five times in one quarter of work Sunday, the Red Rifle connecting on four of five throws for 60 yards. That kind of chemistry works well for Leggett, given that Bryce Young will miss Week 8 with an ankle injury.Young left the win over the Jets after suffering a health setback, but he found Leggett for his first 3-yard TD of the game.
- Keep an eye on Josh Downs' status in the coming days.It was a surprise when he appeared on the injury report last week with a concussion and did not play on Sunday. If he returns in Week 8, he will have a juicy matchup against the Titans defense. However, if Downs misses another week, the Colts would target WR Alec Pierce, who had a season-high 98 receiving yards against the Chargers.
– The Chargers have been going through a rough patch, but that hasn't stopped their rookie tight end from breaking out in historic fashion.Oronde Gadsden II has the most receiving yards by a tight end in his first five career games in the Super Bowl era after his 164-yard blast against the Colts, according to Research. He now has a total of 308 points on 22 catches (14 YPC) this season.Trey McBride is the only tight end who has been targeted more than Gadsden over the last two weeks.I don't expect Gadsden to keep up this pace, but at a position that's traditionally short on depth, I'd keep him off waivers while you still can.
- Just when it seemed safe to drop Juwan Johnson, he had a season-high 79 receiving yards against the Bears on Sunday. He finished with 12.9 fantasy points on the day after producing 11 in the previous three games. It was nice to see a return to Johnson's early season production, especially with Foster Moreau and Taysom Hill both active.Johnson shot 72 percent snaps and had seven field goals (his most in a game since Week 3).I don't blame you if you moved on from Johnson, but it's okay if you have to turn to him.
- There were signs of life outside of Colston Loveland (you know, the 10th overall pick in this year's draft) in Week 7.He saw his biggest workload of the season with Bears TE1 Cole Kmet, who missed late in the third quarter with a back injury.Loveland had a season-high three catches for 24 yards.Obviously this isn't something to get excited about, but for those of you who are still intrigued by the upside and potential golden opportunity for a rookie with the Ravens' woeful defense next on the schedule, this might be the perfect time to give Loveland another chance.
- The Titans are a decent matchup for fantasy defenses this season, so look for the Colts if you get the chance.Indianapolis' D has scored 13 or more fantasy points three times in 2025, and Tennessee can't get away with it now.
- It's hard to get excited about the Falcons' defense after watching Christian McCaffrey tear through it Sunday night, but Atlanta can catch the Dolphins at the right time. The team is in a bit of trouble, with Miami allowing a top-10 fantasy defense in each of the past two weeks.
- The Chargers have a potential rebound early with another visit to Carolina. The Panthers look to return to Anditon, at least for starters, because of a knee injury.
