Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons made headlines in Santa Clara, Calif., with a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers after a group of thieves attacked his Tennessee home on Sunday.

Simmons warned fans on Instagram and shared pictures of the suspects. He wrote: "What if a member of my family is in my house? "God is great and I am his son!!Whoever you are, know that he sits high and looks down."

The Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed to The Athletic on Monday that detectives are actively investigating the incident.

Simmons later posted on X: "Through it all, I'm smiling! The devil can't and won't take my joy away! All I know is to keep going!!"
