Heading into Sunday's final regular-season game at Bank of America Stadium, the quarterback situation for both the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers appears to have become much clearer.

Quarterback situations for the Vikings, the Packers, will be more clear before Sunday

At least it looks good for purple

For the Vikings, J.J.J.The McCarthy is back on track to start for the Vikings on Sunday afternoon as he was a full participant in the second practice of the week on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday.Detroit.The team has been waiting to see how he does this week, and the fact that he participated in Thursday's session seems a positive indicator of his status for Sunday.

For Green Bay, the Packers announced that Clayton Tune will start at quarterback for the regular season finale.Jordan Love cleared the league's concussion protocol after missing the Packers' Week 17 loss to Baltimore, and backup Malik Willis is struggling with a shoulder injury he suffered in the same game.

For Tune, this will be his second NFL game. His first came in 2023 when he was a rookie with the Arizona Cardinals. In that game, he completed 11 of 20 passes for 58 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions as the Cardinals lost 27-0 to the Cleveland Browns. He also sacked seven times in that game.

We'll certainly know the Vikings' quarterback position tomorrow, but all indications today are that we'll see J.J. McCarthy on the sidelines and Clayton Tone when the Vikings and Packers take the field Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis.
