The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to define their season by results rather than accolades. With an 11-4 record, a strong playoff berth and limited individual accolades, the Jaguars have built a team identity — one that head coach Liam Coen believes speaks louder than accolades. As the NFL postseason approaches, the Jaguars' record and their Pro Bowl offense have become central topics of discussion.

When the 2026 NFL Pro Bowl rosters were announced, Jacksonville received just one selection despite holding third place in the AFC.Long snapper Ross Maticic received the only nod, marking his third career Pro Bowl appearance.Kicker Cam Little also ranked in the league's top ten at his position, but fell short of the official selection.Given the team's position, the lack of recognition was evident throughout the championship.

Speaking in Jacksonville on Wednesday, Cohen addressed the discrepancy, reinforcing the organization's emphasis on internal focus over external validation.Later, the Jaguars took to their official X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared a clip of the head coach's comments about a team that received just one Pro Bowl selection despite sitting atop the AFC South.

"Look, we can't control those decisions ... being 11-4, one or two people do a lot of talking."

"It looks like we can't control those decisions ... to be 11-4 and only one is talking."

Cohen's comments came on the heels of an emphatic win in Week 16, when Jacksonville beat the Denver Broncos 34-20 at Empower Field, snapping Denver's 11-game winning streak and 12-game home streak.

Four Jaguars were named Pro Bowl alternates, running back Trevor Lawrence, running back Travis Etienne, defensive end Devin Lloyd and running back Parker Washington. While none of them received initial picks, their inclusion highlights Jacksonville's depth and balance rather than relying on individual stars.

Inside the organization, Pro Bowl snubs are motivations rather than distractions.Coen framed it as an affirmation that the Jaguars' success is rooted in teamwork and consistency. As January football approaches, Jacksonville continues to focus on the results that matter most, setting itself up as a disciplined AFC contender primed for postseason success.
