While Team USA's quarterfinal opponent has yet to be determined, their performance in group play has fans dreaming of their third gold medal in men's hockey, though significant challenges remain.

Here's what you know.

How has America fared in the tournament so far?

The USA got off to a slow start in their first two matches against Latvia and Denmark, but quickly turned things around, winning 5-1 and 6-3 to put them in position to secure an automatic spot in the quarterfinals.

Then on Sunday, they cruised into the last eight of the tournament with a huge win over Germany.

The United States got strong performances from various offensive stars, including Brady Tkachuk, who played a big role for Denmark on Saturday.

Toronto Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews scored two goals against Germany and Brock Nelson scored two goals against Latvia in the opener.

When will the USA play again?

Thanks to a win over Germany on Sunday, the U.S. will automatically advance to the quarterfinals as it tops the group.

Canada would also advance to the quarterfinals, and the two teams would meet in the gold medal game if they could win both knockout games to get there.

Those quarter final matches will be played on Wednesday and the opponents will be decided.

How is the schedule?

On Tuesday, there will be four qualifying games to determine the four teams that will be in the quarterfinals of the competition.

All of these quarterfinal games will be played on Wednesday, with puck drop scheduled for 5:10 a.m. ET.a.m., 9:40 a.m., 11:10 a.m. and 2:10 p.m. Central Time.

The semi-final of hockey will be held on Friday, the game time is 09:40 and 14:10.

The bronze match for men's hockey will be played on Saturday at 13:40 and the bronze match will be held on Sunday at 19:10, the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games will be held.
