CORVALLIS, Ore. - The JaMarcus Shephard season officially begins on Saturday, Sept. 5 when the Oregon State football team plays at Houston to open the 2026 season.
The Beavers will play six games at Reser Stadium, including at San Diego, Washington State, Texas and Utah State, as part of the new Pac-12 Conference.

In addition to releasing its schedule, the Pac-12 also announced that the championship for the first season of the new league will be held at the top seed.Set for Friday, Dec. 4, the new 2026 Pac-12 football title game will be shown on CBS and Paramount+ as part of the conference's new media partnership with CBS Sports, USA Sports and CW Sports.After a seven-game schedule of conference play, with each team facing each other once, the Pac-12 title game will be determined after the conclusion of Week 12 (Nov. 21), two weeks before the championship game.

Overview of the 2026 Pac-12 schedule
- A 4-game non-conference slate to start the season over Weeks 1-4 (September 5-26).
The game schedule for the seventh round of the league is eight weeks, with a bye every week from weeks 5-12 (October 3 to November 21).
