Super Bowl 2026: A big $180 burger topped with blue cheese fondue and hated fans

The food monstrosity at American sporting events is now about as American as baseball or apple pie. There's a reason wild foods go viral at the start of every baseball season: fans love and hate to see what the country's twisted culinary minds will come up with.

But everything goes up a notch when you combine this American pastime with the biggest and most expensive sporting event the United States has to offer: the Super Bowl.

Put it all together, and that explains why a $180 burger was sold at Super Bowl 60. No, really.

LX Hammer Burger for $180 🤯

How exactly do you add enough ingredients to a hamburger for a total of $180?Thanks for your question. The burger in question, called the LX Hammer Burger, features a bone-in beef shank, roasted demi-glace demi-glace, and blue cheese fondue poured all over the sides of the burger. It all fits between two brioche buns.

While there is evidence that the finished product is similar to Burger, the video above doesn't help.Culinary icon Guy Fieri might describe it as "the toxic beer of Flavortown."Of course, Fieri has a dish called "Trash Can Nachos," so that's high praise from the mayor of Flavortown.

When you combine excess and decadence, it doesn't always look pretty, and the LX Hammer Burger seems to be an incredible example of that.

So the big question is... do you want to eat it?Is it possible? One can imagine needing to call a medical professional at some point before finishing an entire burger. The burger is meant to be split in a number of ways, but we're still not sure how many bites you'll have to take before your veins pump straight blue cheese.

Maybe it's for the best though.Such junk food is simply not worth eating. It deserves to live on as a work of modern art and a monument to American ingenuity.
