Scott brings her world-class experience to the UFC 324 desk
CBS Sports' Kate Scott will join the official UFC broadcast team for UFC 324, Paramount announced Thursday.Scott will host the broadcast desk on January 24 alongside former UFC champion Michael Bisping, Dominick Cruz and Chris Weidman.
Scott's First UFC broadcast coincided with the MMA broadcast promotion on Paramount +.Scott is an experienced and seasoned broadcaster that is smooth in four languages.She has hosted main international sports, including the World Cup and World Championships on Fox Sports, Dazn, Showtime and Sky Sports.
Commentary will be provided by UFC mainstays Joe Rogan, Jon Ink and former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier.Veteran reporters Megan Olvey and trainer Dan Thomas will also appear on the broadcast, and legendary Octagon announcer Bruce Buffer will introduce the fighters.
UFC 324 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.The show is the first in a major media rights deal between the UFC and Paramount.It will be broadcast live on Paramount+ and included in the subscription price, as the deal also marks the end of UFC pay-per-view events.
An interim junior title fight between Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett headlines the card at halftime with undisputed champion Ilia Topuria.Other notable fighters on the card include former UFC champions Sean O'Malley, Rose Namajunas and Deiveson Figueiredo, fighter Umar Nurmagomedov and boxing favorites Derrick Lewis and Jean Silva.
