I'm surprised Black decided to go to the Senior Bowl after he helped Indiana win its first national championship a week ago. That decision reflects his competitiveness and won't go unnoticed by the team. Somehow, he doesn't look like a guy coming off a 16-game season. Everything he does is full speed. I give the 1,000-yard rusher a lot of credit.
Folks, the real football magnet has come to Mobile this year.Clark's one-handed interception of a pass intended for N.C.State TE Justin Joly was one of the highlights of the week.I know his production was excellent at TCU (15 INTs over the past four seasons) and he's that type of player in practice as well.Clark's shares are rising for a second day.
There's a bunch of talented wide receivers in the Senior Bowl this year, but Fields was clearly a cut above any other player at the position. His ability to get into breaks was impressive, and he had the catch of the week on a deep ball from Arkansas QB Taylen Green. He was already one of my top 50 prospects and he's only going to climb the board after the way he came out this week.
Hunter, my No. 26 prospect in the draft coming into this week, made his impact felt as soon as the exercise began on Tuesday.Clearly he is a top defender and he is a force as a passer when he leaves his pad.He has a chance to be the first choice.
Iheanachor looks the part with good length at 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds. However, what stood out to me was the steady growth I saw in her over the weeks. He adapted rapidly on the second day of training with the guidance he received here.Remember Iheanachor, who grew up playing soccer and basketball, doesn't start his soccer career until 2021. A chance to slip into the first round.Plus I have him as a potential second round pick
I felt like every time I looked up this week I saw Luis around the ball.He is a player. Now, he may not have the size of a prototypical linebacker (6-0, 224), but he fits the bill as a Will linebacker or a big nickelback at the next level. He is excellent in coverage and can shoot into space to disrupt run plays.I like Louis's acting style.
I can't blame any offensive lineman for trying to stop Moore this week. The former Michigan Wolverine had one of the few moments of the week when he showed his strength on Tuesday, but it was on display every day in practice. He created an edge in the run game and was relentless as a pass rusherHe will bring great value as a Day 2 pick this year
Parker has helped himself a lot in mobileHis plays dipped last season and his production told the story, but his total went from 11 in 2024 to five in 2025.He had a monster week here thoughNo one can stop the movement of his long arms in mobileParker puts himself in the first round mix
Rodriguez's performance on Wednesday was probably the best practice any player showed all week.He forced a fumble and had an INT, building on a professional season that left his bag full of tools.
Virgil impresses me every day in practice. He has great size (6-foot-2, 188 feet) and is a very smooth athlete with speed that can break down defenses. I also like his production - he has 15 touchdown catches the past two seasons. Outside of Malachi Fields, Virgil is the most compelling receiver for me this week.
